Mangamaunu Bay Farm Park offers you an opportunity to enjoy a rural lifestyle on a 92 hectare property which will continue to be farmed on behalf of its owners. The property's infrastructure, designed by Connell Wagner, includes a number of features which are states-of-the art for avoiding and minimising environmental impacts.

About Mangamaunu Bay Farm Park

Mangamaunu Bay is comprised largely of improved pastures but contains many pockets of native bush and regenerating hardwood forests, predominately Totara and Manuka. The largest of the forest areas will be protected by a covenant encouraging further habitat restoration.

The Farm Park has 26 building sites, each of 5,000 square metres. To the west of the bay is a mountain range - the Seaward Kaikouras, and to the east, the vast Pacific Ocean.

  • Site owners have a 1/26th share of Mangamaunu Bay Farm Park
  • The farm is run by an experienced Farm Manager
  • There is access to all areas, including protected bush, via walking tracks and farm tracks and farm roads
  • Recreation facilities are jointly owned by the 26 homeowners

Facilities at Mangamaunu Bay

The central pavilion is the hub of the development. Designed to reflect the character of the site, it provides the perfect place for homeowners to mix and mingle over a barbecue lunch or sporting event, or to share tales from a day's fishing or surfing.

The swimming pool is the ideal place to laze on a hot summer's day, or to cool off after 18 holes on Kaikoura's excellent golf course. Enjoy a game of tennis while your friends and family relax in the pavillion or swimming pool.  With views as breathtaking as this, you can relax and feel as if you are touching the Pacific Ocean with your toes.
